This track was inspired by something deeply personal - real thoughts shared by friends. Back in late 2023, I asked people on social media to tell me what happiness means to them. Their touching answers became the foundation for the lyrics, turning the song into a celebration of life’s simplest yet most meaningful moments. Whether it’s time spent with loved ones, a peaceful moment with a cup of coffee, or singing along to your favorite records, "Happiness" reminds us that joy is all around us, waiting to be embraced.
Set in a 6/8 time signature and with an upbeat tempo of 128 bpm, "Happiness" captures the rhythm of life's most cherished moments. It's a feel-good anthem for anyone looking to reconnect with the beauty of the present and the things that make us smile.
Mix and mastering of "Happiness" were completed back in April 2024 at A7 Recording Studio. Co-produced by Blaž Pavšič, the song was carefully crafted to deliver a vibrant, uplifting sound that perfectly matches its heartfelt message. Waiting all these months to release it has been a true test of patience, but I believed that a pre-Christmas release would best capture the spirit and mood of this song.
The stunning artwork was created by MaKo, whose creative vision beautifully complements the song’s message.
And, of course, a special thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts on happiness - you helped make this song truly meaningful.
