It all began quietly in 2021, when inspiration found me through the graceful yet haunting melodies of Erik Satie’s Gnossienne No. 1. Picking up my guitar, I let these timeless notes weave themselves into a tapestry of electric energy and rock passion. The result was Rocking Gnossienne - an instrumental tribute bridging classical elegance with the grit and soul of rock music.

Yet music, like life itself, evolves. Years later, from across the globe, another spark was ignited by this very piece. Australian singer-songwriter Gary Hayward felt compelled to pick up his pen and microphone, crafting poetic, expressive lyrics and enhancing the track with his distinctive voice. Thus, from a spontaneous artistic collaboration across continents, Rocking Gnossienne’25 (feat. Gary Hayward) was born.

This new version isn't merely a rework - it's a fresh artistic statement. The track gains emotional depth, layering Gary’s evocative storytelling over my original rock-infused composition. The result is both nostalgic and innovative, capturing the timeless spirit of Satie while daring to embrace the contemporary edge of indie-rock songwriting.
